DATA & COMMUNICATION SECURITY

Keep data in your environment and protect communication through an encrypted channel.

LinkDialog Private IM runs on a customer-controlled private server and does not route conversations through the public Telegram network. Its security controls are concrete, reviewable and included in deployment acceptance.

DATA

Customer-controlled data

Accounts, messages, files and operational data remain on the customer's private server and storage instead of a public Telegram account or third-party IM service.

TRANSPORT

TLS-encrypted communication

Production domain deployment uses HTTPS/TLS with a trusted certificate. Traffic between the Windows client and private server is not exposed as plaintext on the network, reducing interception and tampering risk.

ACCESS

Authenticated access and limited exposure

Downloads require authorization, the database port stays off the public internet, and the administration console can be restricted to a trusted network, VPN or additional access control.

INTEGRITY

Encrypted and signed configuration

Customer client configuration uses AES-256-GCM encryption and RSA-PSS/SHA-256 signatures, allowing the client and server to reject damaged, forged, inactive or expired configurations.

Security is verifiable: server ownership, data location, certificate status, exposed ports, access permissions and backup settings can all be checked during delivery. This describes encrypted client-to-server transport and does not claim unverified end-to-end encryption.

WINDOWS OR LINUX SERVER

CHOOSE BY EXPECTED ONLINE USERS

A clear server starting point for every rollout size.

These single-server estimates assume a text-led workload, mostly small groups and one connected Windows device per user. Windows suits smaller installations, while Linux is recommended for long-running use.

Larger teams with higher messaging activity

Online capacity is counted by connected client devices, not registered accounts. One user signed in on two computers counts as two online devices.

  • Frequent large-group messaging lowers capacity
  • Heavy file transfers require more bandwidth and storage
  • AI bots and multiple devices add server load
  • Final sizing is confirmed against the customer's real workload

BUYER FAQ

Seven questions to answer before arranging a demonstration.

Straight answers about the product source, features, security, deployment, client delivery and server sizing.

01What exactly is LinkDialog Private IM?

It is a private Windows IM product developed from the open-source Telegram Desktop client. Most familiar desktop workflows are recreated on an independently implemented and deployed service.

02Does it connect to Telegram accounts or the public network?

No. LinkDialog Private IM uses its own private server and does not promise interoperability with Telegram accounts, conversations, bots or the public network.

03Which core features are included?

Login, multi-device sessions, direct messages, contacts, groups, channels, images, files, voice, saved messages, administration, Bot creation, AI replies, feed bots, channel attribution, backup and restart persistence.

04Can the server run on Windows and Linux?

Yes. Windows 10/11 with Docker Desktop supports Windows-based private deployment. The Linux package supports the documented RHEL-family systems and is recommended for cloud servers and long-running services.

05Can sensitive communication be captured as plaintext in transit?

With HTTPS/TLS enabled and the server certificate correctly validated, traffic between the Windows client and private server is encrypted and is not exposed as plaintext on the network. This reduces interception and tampering risk. Data stays on the customer-controlled server and is not routed through the public Telegram network. This is transport encryption, not a claim of end-to-end encryption.

06How many users can be online at the same time?

As a single-server sizing reference, a 4-core 8 GB Linux server is suitable for roughly 300–500 online devices, an 8-core 16 GB Linux server can be evaluated for 1,000–2,000, and a 16-core 32 GB Linux server for 3,000–5,000. Actual capacity depends on group size, files, bots and devices per user, and is confirmed by pre-delivery load testing.

07Is a signed installer included?

Yes. The Windows client is delivered as a production Release build with code signing and an installer, together with customer-specific server connection configuration.
